- Produce audit-ready financial statements

Add-On Accounting Modules
Optional modules that expand FastFund Accounting as your organization grows.
Accounts Payable
FastFund Online Nonprofit Accounting Accounts Payable is seamlessly integrated with FastFund Accounting General Ledger and does not require transaction imports or reconciliation. Vendor activity is automatically posted to the General Ledger and vendor subsidiary ledgers.
FastFund allows you to keep multiple Accounts Payable control accounts, each with its own subsidiary ledger. This is useful if you want to separate vendor payables and other payables, such as client payables.
Accounts Receivable
FastFund Online Nonprofit Accounting Accounts Receivable is seamlessly integrated with FastFund Accounting General Ledger and does not require transaction imports or reconciliation. Client activity is automatically posted to the General Ledger and client subsidiary ledgers.
The Accounts Receivable system is used to maintain your financial activity on the accrual basis of accounting. Client bills are recorded in the period the revenue is earned not when the payment is received.
Client names are stored in the single names database. So if a client is also a donor, there is only one record to maintain for address and contact information. Generate one report with all financial activity associated with the name, including client transactions and donor transactions.
Indirect Cost Allocations
The FastFund Online Indirect Allocations module is a powerful system for allocating expenses and revenue.
Indirect Allocation Basis includes:- Direct Cost
- Direct Revenue
- Total by Account
- Fixed Numeric Value
- Fixed Percentage
Indirect Cost Allocations creates post allocated worksheets detailing the indirect costs or revenues being allocated and the benefitting cost centers, plus worksheets with the direct and indirect revenue and expenses for each cost center.
Allocations can be used for creating indirect cost reports, or can be posted as a journal entry to permanently move the transactions from one cost center to another.
Direct Cost Allocations
FastFund Online Nonprofit Accounting Cost Allocations will enable you to define your allocations methodology for direct and indirect costs.
- Allocate by percentages
- Allocate account distributions
- Allocate expenses & revenue
- Allocate by project code
Point of Entry Allocations allows you to set up an unlimited number of pre-defined allocations by percentage and accounts only.
Purchase Orders
The Purchase Order system is an add-on to the Accounts Payable module to track and control the buying process for goods and services. The use of purchase orders makes it easier to check what you received is what was ordered. It also makes it easier to enforce budgets and accountability. An efficient purchase order system can save time, cut costs and avoid cash flow nightmares.
Using Purchase orders can reduce the risk of internal fraud. Purchase orders also offer an audit trail of who handled a particular purchase transaction so they can be held accountable in case of inconsistencies.
When proper records are maintained for every transaction, income and loss statements, profit and loss accounts and cash flow statements are that much more accurate.
